Last night was the SECOND time I missed out on seeing Avatar. I was going to see it with friends at school before we left for break, but then we went to a party instead. Then last night, the 11 pm showing was sold out! My friends and I (I blame Erik) forgot that a lot of people had off for Christmas Eve, so at first we were like, who goes to a movie late on Wednesday night except college kids home for break? So we made another date to see it
next Wednesday in IMAX. We're definitely going to get there early and have already bought tickets online. I want really good seats after all the trouble I've gone through. Although I did get my friends to help me dig out my car from the snow so that was good. It's the price they had to pay for me to drive them places this break; I don't think it's such a bad deal for them. 30 minutes work for unlimited (or only semi-limited) rides.
We ended up on a quest for a Red Box around town. A lot of places were closed by the time we got back from the movie theater (Blockbuster! Taco Bell! Safeway!), so it took us a while to find Shoppers' Red Box. Then it didn't have The Hangover or Inglorious Bastards, so we wound up watching The Ugly Truth. Nina and Erik had seen it before and really liked it. Well, Nina did so Erik was forced to ;) Andrea and I ended up clinging together during the embarrassing parts. It was very chick flicky but I liked it. Come on, it has Gerry Butler? I'm easy like that :D
ALSO! ALSO! It had Craig Ferguson in it! I loooove him. He interviewed Gerard Butler's character in the movie. It was so funny because Gerry had his American accent in action although he's actually Scottish like Craig. They've had real interviews about this:
Numpty! Also, Viking reference :D Where are the pictures of Gerry as a Viking?
Merry Christmas Eve!
